I have always been an athlete, competitively competing in softball, volleyball, even kickboxing. I have done the “gym rat” exercise routine, the “maybe I’ll get a run in today” exercise routine and just about every routine in between.

But the truth is I have never had much achievement with my own fitness until I started working with Andy.

Andy has been vital in helping to find success in the gym as well as with my nutrition. When I first met Andy I knew that I was going to really enjoy working out with him because he understood my athletic mentality. He was able to tap into past motivations through coaching and direction.

Every workout with him has me trying something new or pushing myself to reach a better time/weight. I have found that I enjoy pushing and striving towards goals, so give me a stretch goal and I will continue to work until I reach it, and most likely exceed it.

I can’t thank Andy enough for helping to find the my athletic side again after so many years of pretending to enjoy going to the gym for a run or pretending to enjoy the workout DVD I bought hoping to “get things back on track.”

For the first time since I was in my early 20’s I enjoy exercising. I enjoy heading to the gym to try and up my speed/time on the treadmill. I even enjoy lifting weights, which I have steered clear of due to myths and old training techniques.

Andy is a trainer, motivator, and educator. He has taught me more about fitness and healthy lifestyles than 20+ years in athletics ever did. The changes I have seen over the past year are all due to Andy and the confidence I’ve built stems from that.
