I had never been one to use age as an excuse but at 55 years old, I was beginning to think that maybe my thin days were behind me. I had been slowly gaining weight for about 10 years and the more I tried to lose weight, the bigger I seemed to get.

I tried every weight loss plan on the market. The one thing I hadn’t tried was a personal trainer.

When I started working out with Andy I was skeptical. How could this fit trainer guy understand my issues? Physically, I couldn’t do a lot. I was worried that I might get hurt or even worse, embarrass myself.

With Andy’s help, my worries soon disappeared and I slowly started seeing changes in my body and fitness level.

Andy’s depth of knowledge, passion for his field and honest concern for the welfare of his clients have helped me get in better shape than I have ever been. I am back to believing that age should never be used as an excuse. As the saying goes, “You are only as young as you feel”, and I feel younger than I have in ages!
