Physical Therapy FAQ’s

  • At SwiftFit, we treat a wide range of conditions across all ages and activity levels. Our main focus is on orthopedics and sports injuries, including pre and post-operative care. Whether you’re a weekend warrior or a seasoned athlete, we can help get you and keep you out of pain.

We also specialize in women’s health from pre-pregnancy to postpartum. We can help keep you or return you to the activities you enjoy, no matter where you are on your journey.

  • SwiftFit is a fee for service clinic. We are not contracted with any insurance companies or Medicare. If you do have insurance, you can be provided a receipt of billing codes that can be submitted to your insurance for reimbursement for an out of network treatment.

  • DesBecause we are out of network, this allows us to treat patients one-on-one for the full duration of their session. Due to progressively worsening reimbursement rates and pressure from insurance companies, therapists often see 2 or more patients per hour and technicians and assistants are used to provide much of the actual patient care. At SwiftFit, we can tailor a treatment plan to work with your schedule while allowing you to save money overall.

We can also help you reach injury prevention and performance goals, which are generally not covered by insurance.

  • No physician referral is needed to get evaluated and treated by a physical therapist. However, in Texas, a referral script is required for treatment lasting longer than 10 days. We are happy to help connect you with a physician in your area, should you need further care.
